Now you'll to have to go somewhere else to get your six-second kicks.
Vine announced they're now removing sexually explicit videos, many of which were uploaded with the #VineAfterDark hashtag. Many were homemade videos of people having sex, masturbating, or showing off their goods. When a Vine had pornographic content, a warning would appear before it played, which users had to click on before they consented to watching the rest.
"We don’t have a problem with explicit sexual content on the Internet -- we just prefer not to be the source of it," the company said in a blog post.
Some users, though, have used nudity as art or to supplement a story, and Vine said they're still cool with that, as long as the nudity isn't sexually provocative.
Accounts that upload an x-rated Vine will now have their accounts suspended.
