With a slate of comic book movies, Star Wars sequels, and one epic looking Godzilla movie on the horizon, Transformers: Age of Extinction has been lost in the blockbuster shuffle. Sure there is hype for it, but after four installments, it seems like audiences have cooled on Michael Bay’s robot franchise. However, this debut trailer for the movie might change your mind.

In place of the gratuitous sex and embarrassing humor from the last three films, this trailer puts the focus on Bay’s signature action and testosterone-fueled drama. Here we’re introduced to a new cast including Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz, who stumble upon Optimus Prime in the trash. His revival leads to some big trouble as government agents, new Transformers, and a pretty angry looking Dino Bot all cause havoc soon after.

There is a lot that Age of Extinction has to prove, but this trailer shows that a new cast and direction might be the shot in the arm that Bay needs to pull off a satisfying American blockbuster.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters on June 27.
