Titanfall
Developer
: Respawn Entertainment
Publisher: Electronic Arts
Genre: First-Person Shooter
Platforms:
Xbox One, PC , Xbox 360
Basically: The game is levelling the field for the entire FPS genre. It's perfect for veterans feeling the fatigue of annualized franchise, but intuitive enough to appeal to fans who may not be the greatest at FPS.
Graphics: Beta was played on PC, so straight gorgeous.
Gameplay: Kineticly fast paced in a perfectly balanced way.
Reason to cop it: You've always dreamed of piloting a Transformer.
Reason to not cop it: You're somehow devoted beyond reason to military shooters.
Bottom line: Game-changer. Cop ASAP

Titanfall is finally on the ground and contently whirring away in disc trays around the world. After the massively successful beta saw over 2 million people log on to play, the final build of the game has launched today.

During the midnight countdown launch event in Austin, for the SXSW's Interactive component, we get to play the final, retail build of the game and we can assure you, this is going to be the hot hot heat of 2014.

Stay tuned for full coverage of the launch event including interviews with Respawn Entertainment, Childish Gambino, and Xbox's Yusuf Mehdi.

SXSW Interactive has drawn to a close, but at least we have Titanfall to fill the gaping void. Check out our video review above and prepare for Titanfall.
