Some Guy Suing McDonald's Over Napkins

Man Suing McDonald's for $1.5 Million Over Napkins

Remember that time a woman sued McDonald's for her coffee being hot? We thought that was the definition of frivolous lawsuit, but it seems there is a new champion. A California man named Webster Lucas is super pissed that a McDonald's worker only gave him one napkin.

When he asked for another, he apparently got a rude response from a manager named Angel, who said he already got napkins. These guys are very concerned about napkin distribution. The African-American Lucas then says the Mexican-American Angel mumbled something about "you people."

Lucas emailed his complaint to general manager Leticia Barrera, who subsequently apologized. But Lucas wasn't satisfied -- not having enough napkins is very upsetting, hello! Lucas responded to the email and claims he is unable to work because of "undue mental anguish and the intentional infliction of emotional distress caused by your employee." So he's suing for $1.5 million, obviously.

Look, if we sued every time a fast food worker was rude, let's just say we'd be a lot richer.
