The New Jersey man who placed his wife's remains inside of a 55-gallon drum will spend the next 22 years behind bars.

The Huffington Post reports that Steven Acuna, 40, killed Randy "Amanda" Lehrer following an Aug. 2011 fight at their Jersey City Heights home. According to authorities, Acuna filled the drum with cement, then placed his wife's body inside. The drum was discovered by investigators in the basement of the building where the couple resided a month later.

Acuna, who has already been in jail for the past two years, pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in October. Lehrer's family has been granted custody of her 3-year-old daughter.
