Another day in Hollywood, another remake. The Hollywood Reporter says Paramount is looking to remake the 1985 sci-fi movie Explorers through their low budget subsidiary, Insurge Pictures. The adaptation will be penned by Geoff Moore and Dave Posamentier, who co-wroteBetter Living Through Chemistry which opens this Friday.
Explorers centers around three friends who build a spaceship and explore the unknown. The film is considered a cult classic by many and was the first feature film role for Ethan Hawke and River Phoenix.
