Not to pat ourselves on the back or anything, but a sandwich created in Complex's honor has been crowned one of the best in New York City.
Refinery29 released its list of the best sandwiches in the city, which included "The Complex Mag," which can be found atBrancaccio's Food Shop (3011 Fort Hamilton Pkwy.) in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. Chef Joe Brancaccio invented—yeah, invented—the sandwich when Complex visited Brancaccio's last year.
Brancaccio's creation is an eggplant caponata sandwich topped with fresh ricotta cheese, tender broccoli rabe and eggs. As Refinery29's Laura Norkin gushed, it's "insanity." In a good way. Stop by and try it sometime.
