Officials in Mississippi say that a man was discovered alive and well inside of a body bag at a funeral home just as he was about to be embalmed.

WAPT reports that employees at Porter and Sons Funeral Home in Lexington, Miss. found Walter Williams attempting to kick his way to freedom. According to the coroner, Williams was declared dead at his Lexington just after 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral home workers said the zipped-up body bag began to move just as they were preparing to embalm him.

Williams was rushed to the hospital, and the coroner suspects that his pacemaker may have stopped working briefly, then started once again. Either way, it's a miracle, and Williams' family is happy he's alive.

"I don't know how long he's going to be here, but I know he's back right now. That's all that matters," his nephew, Eddie Hester, told WAPT.
