A music teacher in Long island has been arrested on rape and criminal sex act charges for sexual misconduct with a student nine years his junior.
The teacher, Yoel Gonzalez, now 27, is accused of having initiated sexual contact with his student when she was 15 and he was 24. Gonzalez taught at Bracco Music Center in Valley Stream as well as his own home.
Police say that the relationship was ongoing for approximately two years. Nassau County police are currently searching for other possible victims and ask that anyone with information call 516-573-4022. [via NBC New York]
