On February 17, the keys to The Tonight Show, the longest currently running, regularly scheduled entertainment program, will be handed off by Jay Leno to Jimmy Fallon. Along with the earlier time slot, Fallon gains the opportunity to bring a whole new crowd to the television staple, and, honestly, we can't think of a better guy to do it. Fallon isn't someone we'd describe as charming; he's endearing, and really, that's a lot more fun to watch. We'd be lying if we didn't see this move coming.

Viewers watched him carefully craft his persona on SNL's "Weekend Update," witnessed him struggle with a film career in L.A., and tuned into his homecoming with Late Night. And Fallon was good. He found his voice with the perfect mixture of sketch comedy, interviews, and games, turning himself into the obvious choice to sit behind that historic desk.

If you're still not sold on the "starring Jimmy Fallon" bit, here's a quick rundown to help you remember just how cool the nicest guy in New York City really is.
