Finally, goldfish have a weapon to fight back against cats. Well, at least one does.
The goldfish in question has been equipped with a tank which uses a camera and computer vision software that continually scans its movements. Cool enough, but what's cooler is that connected to this device is a set of four wheels, so when the goldfish swims toward something, the camera will relay information to the wheels that tell it to go in the direction that the fish is swimming. The fish might not know exactly what's going on, but this is obviously the next step before the fish takeover in the year 2099.
“Hopefully this invention will encourage more development in enhanced pet mobility, so pet animals can travel the world more freely,” says Studio Diip, the design firm behind the robo-fish.
