Police in Florida say that a man accidentally shot himself just after leaving a gun safety class.
The Palm Beach Post reports that Boynton Beach Police responded to a call and found a man sitting in the bed of his truck with a gunshot wound to the leg. He informed police that after he left the safety class, he stopped to check his Glock 17. The weapon discharged when he removed the magazine and he began fidgeting witht he slide.
He was treated at the scene by a rescue team and then transported to a local hospital for additional examination.
