Last week, NBC released a full trailer for the second season of its sleeper hit, Hannibal, and it was brutally glorious. Now the network has put out a new TV spot for the show that perfectly encapsulates everything fans love into 30 seconds of footage.
Set to some uncharacteristically serene music, this promo gives us quick flashes of ultra violence and tantalizing plot teases, such as Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) strapped to an electric chair, Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) looking smug, and a gruesome Spirograph of corpses. Like any great tease, though, you won’t be bludgeoned over the head with spoilers. Instead you’ll get to go in fresh when Hannibal returns to NBC for its second season on February 28.
