The Dominion Post wrote this description of a man suspected of stealing credit cards in Monongalia County, West Va. Somewhere during the process, they forgot to, well, describe him in detail.

The original blurb would lead anyone reading it to think that all black men fit the description, and suggests that any black men in the area should either stop being black immediately or seek refuge somewhere, lest they be harassed by law enforcement for fitting the lack of description.

According to the Dominion Post, it was due to an editor's mistake:

The Dominion Post omitted a suspect’s description Saturday. See correction: http://t.co/xPGy09t9yo

This means that black men in and around Monongalia County are safe from harassment by law enforcement, but not really.
