Steam, Valve’s online gaming delivery service, is hosting another free-play weekend; this time it’s the sword smashing and javelin throwing fun of War of the Vikings.
War of the Vikings has moved into beta mode of pre-release and is taking all comers to pile into the bloody Norse lands and take each other apart. Gamers can take full advantage of the free play weekend by grabbing the game here and braining some friends for free until Sunday.
“War of the Vikings delivers the next generation of Paradox’s close quarter combat focused brands that moves the setting to the Viking Age.” The announcement reads, “all of these factors enabled us to create a game experience that has an increased intensity, improved accessibility, and more intuitive combat experiences ensuring you're always presented with interesting choices.”
