Instagram has announced that Thanksgiving Day was its busiest day to date, likely in part due to the double holiday of Thanksgiving and Hannukah. The occasion, dubbed Thanksgivukkah, reaped tons of photos of turkeys, latkes, family celebrations, and, yes, a struggle plate or several thousand. The photo-sharing network hasn’t offered details about just how many photos were shared, but revealed that this Thanksgiving beat out last year’s, which had until this week held the title for the busiest day yet. Last year, more than 10 million photos, at a rate of 200 per second, were shared on Thanksgiving. With Christmas around the corner and more Instagram users than ever, this holiday period could set yet another record.
Your Photos of Turkeys and Latkes Made Thanksgivukkah Instagram's Busiest Day Yet
All thanks due to #thanksgivukkah.
