On Tuesday night, a United States Postal Serviceemployee was arrested for robbing a post office in Manhattan

According to authorities, 40-year-old Ruth Sable knocked on the door of the Washington Heights location and told the two women who were closing the store that she needed to use the bathroom. She then brandished a knife and began to tie up a 60-year-old woman, who called for her 59-year-old co-worker to call 911. Sable took the $2,000 that the women were counting and escaped.

She wasn't free for long, as the U.S. Postal Inspection Service caught up with her in upstate New York within a matters of hours. Sable was charged with robbery and sentenced to house arrest with electronic monitoring.

Sable told authorities that the money was for her mother, who she would do anything for. How much can she do while confined to her home?
