You didn't ask for it, but it's happening anyway: According to a new report in AP, there is a fourth book in Stieg Larsson's popular Millenium series—famous for its first book, Girl With the Dragon Tattoo—in the works.
The only catch is, it isn't the book that Larsson was working on at the time of his death in 2008—apparently, a new author has been hired to pen the fourth book.
The series' publishing house, Norstedts Förlag, announced today that they had signed a contract with I am Zlatan author David Lagercrantz for a fourth book in the Millenium series that would once again follow the main characters from the first three books: Journalist Mikael Blomqvist and hacker Lisbeth Salander. It will include nothing from the unfinished fourth book that Larsson was writing before his death.
There's no word on plot details yet, but USA Today reports that the book is scheduled to be published in August 2015.
