Big news for CollegeHumor's popular series Jake and AmirAccording to Vulture, TBS is set to develop a sitcom based on the long-running web series. And by long-running, they mean long-running: The web series, which stars Amir Blumenfeld and Jake Hurwitz, began in May 2007, and has since produced over 600 episodes.

For those of you who have never seen the show: a) You should stop whatever you're doing and head over to CollegeHumor to watch itright now, and b) it follows CollegeHumor co-workers who have a strange relationship, as Jake is the "sensible guy," and Amir is the weird one. Each installment is only a few minutes long, so you really have no excuse not to go watch one...or 10...or 50 right now.

If you're worried about how the web series will translate to TV, don't fret: There's good talent behind the scenes. Blumenfeld and Hurwitz are co-writing, and The Hangover star Ed Helms will executive produce.
