Beginning next week, New Yorkers will literally be able to taste Britain's beloved drama, Downton Abbey. On Monday, PBS will bring a food truck inspired by the show to Manhattan, serving biscuits and gratis tea to hungry fans. To remain consistent with the show, servers will don period garb, because nothing tastes better than authenticity.
Below are the locations where the truck will stop:
Monday, December 9
East 14th St. at University Place
Tuesday, December 10
6th Avenue between 40th & 41st Street
Wednesday, December 11
50th St. between 6th & 7th Avenue
Thursday, December 12
The New York Times Center, 41st St. between 7th & 8th Avenue
Friday, December 13
Broadway between 66th and 67th Street
The truck will operate from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon until 8 p.m. on Thursday. Keep in mind that this is all in preparation for the fourth season's premiere on Jan. 5. High tea on wheels should hold you over for the next month or so.
