Walt Disney Studios is one step closer to owning every relevant movie franchise in the world. While technically they've owned the rights to the Indiana Jones series since they acquired Lucasfilm last year, yesterday they announced an agreement with Paramount Pictures has been reached that will grant Disney the marketing and distribution rights to future Indy films.

Paramount will keep the distribution rights for the first four films and receive an undisclosed cut of any movie future sequels make. This announcement did not include one for a fifth film, but clearly the studio is gearing up for one, or to blasphemously reboot the series with a new star—Harrison Ford is 71, after all. What are the odds an Indy 5 is announced for Thanksgiving 2015 in the next two weeks?
