After pleading guilty to charges of false imprisonment and battery, former San Diego Mayor Bob Filner was sentenced to three months of home detention and three years of probation this afternoon. Three women, identified as "Jane Does 1, 2 and 3," accused the 71-year-old Filner of sexually assaulting them while he was in office earlier this year.

NBC San Diego says that Jane Doe 1 claimed that Filner used "force to restrain" her at a fundraiser in March, then used "additional force to overcome her resistance." He admitted to kissing Jane Doe 2 without warning or her permission in April; he also admitted to grabbing Jane Doe 3's buttocks just before taking a picture with her in May.

Filner has been banned from ever holding public office again and will forced to complete court supervised mental health treatment. He'll kick 2014 off under home detention and could face up to six months behind bars if he violates his parole. He'd better keep his hands to himself.
