The idea of being pleasantly intoxicated during the middle of a summer day sounds wonderful, especially considering winter begins this week. The world would be a better place if people could freely drink in the streets without having to worry about someone getting too wasted, or the threat of harassment from law enforcement. To aid the cause, the Huffington Post has put together this infographic which shows where you can and absolutely cannot drink in public in the U.S.
The stars designate the towns that allow public drinking in almost all areas. New Orleans, of course, received a star. Mardi Gras can't come soon enough.
