Judging by the first red band trailer (read: NSFW) for 22 Jump Street, not much has changed for cops Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) since the events of 21 Jump Street—except now they're busting a drug ring at a local college, and their operation home base has been moved across the street from 21 Jump St. to 22 Jump St. Other than that, though, the plot of this film seems to be firmly within Schmidt and Jenko's comfort zones: They're working together posing as college students to infiltrate some sort of drug ring, and apparently they still look too old for the ages they're trying to pass as.
Poor Eric (Dave Franco) from the first film is now in jail, but no worries—he makes an appearance, as does Mr. Walkers (Rob Riggle). Obviously, it's a very heart-warming reunion.
