You don't have to wait in the drive-through line at Wendy's locations in Staten Island—if you have an E-ZPass. iDriveThrough has somehow figured out how to sync the credit cards with customers' E-Z Pass tags, using them to pay for food at the drive-through.
According to Grub Street, there are five Wendy's in Staten Island outfitted with E-ZPass checkout lanes, allowing customers to skip the payment line because the cost of their meal goes directly to their card. Aside from the beauty of charging it to your E-ZPass, the new service allows users to collect "rewards points," while experiencing less contact with actual human beings.
