It's about time. After brief appearances from Agent Maria Hill and S.H.I.E.L.D. head honcho Nick Fury (plus a reference to Iron Man 3's Extremis virus), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will finally do a legit crossover/tie-in episode with one of the Marvel films.
The official description for the November 19 episode, titled "The Well," reads: "In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World, Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces–one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team.”
Dark World hits theaters November 8, so you if you've been following S.H.I.E.L.D. but don't see the movie within its first week of release, apparently you'll be screwed. Cross-promotional marketing at its finest. And no, tie-in notwithstanding, the god of Thunder will not appear in "The Well."
