If you were one of the many(?) people awaiting the first glimpse of Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the upcoming Sam Taylor-Johnson-directed 50 Shades of Grey movie, good news: The first photos are finally here, and they're pretty much everything you'd expect from 50 Shades of Grey cast photos. Dornan looks stoic, Johnson looks meek and nervous—the only thing that could have made this more true to the book is an appearance by Ana Steele's "inner goddess" or whatever, but, y'know, baby steps.
Released exclusively through EW, the photos only feature the two main stars, Dornan and Johnson, in full character. Johnson has already dyed her hair brown for the role, and Dornan—well, it doesn't look like he did anything, but he looks pretty Christian Grey-ish with that tie wrapped around his hand.
As reported earlier today by The Huffington Post, the release date of 50 Shades of Grey has actually been moved to 2015: The film will now be released on Feb. 13, 2015, just in time for Valentine's day. Perfect date movie...?
