Smorgasburg Moving to Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 5

Movin' on up.

It looks like Smorgasburg is moving on to bigger and better things, vacating the Tobacco Warehouse in favor of a revamped Pier 5 at Brooklyn Bridge Park (Joralemon St.) on Sundays beginning this weekend. Eric Demby, co-owner of Brookln Flea, told Grub Street that this will accomodate more vendors. "It will be almost as big as the Williamsburg location," he explained. Demby added that Keizo Shiamamoto, the genius behind the ramen burger, will be present serving his creation in the near future.

Furthermore, the Brooklyn Flea/Smorgasburg combination will move to the second floor of 185 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg come Nov. 30. Of the 150 vendors present, 60 will serve food. Rejoice.
