The "OPP Tour" Sweeps Through D.C. This Sunday (10/6)

It's not what it sounds like. End the week on a positive note.

Twenty-two years ago, Treach attempted to explain the meaning of "O.P.P." in a politically-correct, radio-friendly way. Come Sunday, the acronym will gain a less crass meaning through The OPP (Only Positive People) Tour. The four-city tour will stop in D.C. to promote Brother Bang Bang's book, Judge Your Mother. The event will also feature performances from Rahiem Supreme, Marshall Sims, Malik Amari, Doug S. Racer, DMRV and more. Lastly, it will honor local philanthropist Tony Lewis, Jr. for his work in the community.

Moca DC (1054 31st St.) will be the setting from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., and the doors open at 5. Tickets are $10 at the door, so if you're looking for a source of positivity on a Sunday evening, this is your fix.
