As of yesterday the Nintendo 3DS is enjoying its victory lap as the best-selling video game system in the U.S. for the fifth consecutive month.
Even the Wii U enjoyed new momentum following a price cut. Granted, the double barrell fusilade of Pokemon X and Y and the HD re-release of Wind Waker have both been a godsend for Nintendo. So much so that last month Nintendo cut the price of the Wii U Deluxe by $50 to $299.99.
