GoPro just released a more refined Hero 3+ camera that will be available later this week.

The company says the camera now holds a longer battery charge, is lighter in weight, and is smaller than its previous versions. That means it is more portable than ever before, which also means you can film crazier things. You can pick one up in one of two editions: the Black Edition, which is 20-percent smaller than the Hero 3, gets 30-percent more battery life, has a new lens for sharper footage and has four times faster Wi-Fi speeds. It also has a new feature called SuperView that captures wide-angle shots. The Silver Edition, gets 1080p video at 60 fps and 720p video at 120 fps. Its image processor clocks in as being two times faster than the Hero 3. You can pick up the Silver Hero 3+ for $299.00, or the Black Edition for $399.99. The original White Hero 3 is going for $199.99.

To commemorate the launch, GoPro released an awesome video that shows different ways the Hero 3+ can be utilized, like, oh you know, attaching it to a drone, going underwater, or hugging lions. Normal things.
