It's only three episodes in, but here's a major spoiler for Marvel's new series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Agent Coulson will live...for at least another season. According to Vulture, ABC has officially ordered a full season of the Joss Whedon-helmed show, which premiered as TV's highest rated drama in nearly four years late last month. Though same-night ratings have dropped substantially in the past few weeks since it's hit the air, when you factor in time-shifted viewing, the show is doing well audience-wise. It's also improved ABC's ratings in the advertiser coveted 18-49 demo for its timeslot, which previously ran Dancing With the Stars results shows.

S.H.I.E.L.D. is now the third new show to receive a pick-up this season—Sleepy Hollow has already been renewed for a second season, and The Blacklist was given a full first season as well. Renewal watch 2013 is already looking promising.
