Study Suggests Men are Twice as Likely to Snoop Through Phones as Women

The unsettling truth.

None

The findings of a recent study should dispel whatever is left of the myth that women are the crazy, insanely jealous half of relationships. A UK study claims that 60 percent of men admitted to rifling through their girlfriend's texts, emails, photos and DMs, while just a third of women reported doing the same.

What's more, men proved to be less likely to confront their significant other's about it. Just 37 percent of men said they would step up and call their partner out on cheating, compared to 59 percent of women. Strangely, 89 percent of those people said they were not playing mobile detective in search of evidence of cheating.

So what the hell are they looking for? Whatever it is, be careful—what you find might rattle your fragile existence.
