Did you know Ken Jeong is a licensed physician? That's right, Mr. Chow from the Hangovers could've been your family doctor if the comedy route didn't pop off for him. And of course, an interesting backstory like that is something networks would deem marketable. NBC has tapped Jeong to produce and star in Dr. Ken, which will be multi-camera, and focus on his phyisican days.
It's unknown at this point if it will be a straightforward medical comedy or if TV Ken will also have comedy aspirations. Meanwhile Community fans can rest easy: Jeong isn't leaving, and if the show manages another hail mary renewal he just might be able to pull off the double duty.
