Rodney James Duve, owner of Duve's Quick Stop in Corpus Christie, Texas, was arrested over the weekend for fatally shooting a man who allegedly tried to take a 12-pack of beer from his store without paying for it. Devue stands accused of shooting him several times, including "at least" one shot to the head. The unidentified 39-year-old was later pronounced dead at Spohn Memorial Hospital.

Duve, who's currently being held at Nueces County Jail, has been charged with murder. There has to be more going on in your mind than protecting your store if shoot someone several times over a 12-pack.
