Ewan McGregor has been repeatedly expressing interest in reprising his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the impending, J.J. Abrams-helmed Episode VII. But to hear the actor tell it recently, they still haven't called. He seems casual about it, but it also seems to come up with him often. Seeing as the new film will be a sequel this time around, perhaps it's time someone reminded him that his character is, you know, dead. Then again maybe he's just being coy and preserving the surprise for a cool cameo. We probably won't know for sure until the movie bows in summer 2015.
