Electronic Arts announced release dates for three of its most popular games for next generation consoles earlier today.

Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14 and Battlefield 4, as most expected, were previously confirmed as signature titles EA would be rolling out for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 big release in November. Now, the team over at EA has given dates for all you waiting to start your countdown.

All three titles will be released November 19 (November 21 in Europe) for Xbox One and November 12 (November 29 in Europe) for PlayStation 4.

As done in the past by game developers waiting for a new console release, games will be available before Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles will be released November 15 and November 22 respectively. This provides a more seamless transition from current gen consoles to their upgraded format, as publishers and developers try to avoid any distribution issues retail stores may encounter. By releasing the game early any malfunctions can be addressed and gamers will have their copy in hand ready to play as soon as they have their new console.

EA had also previously jumped on the recent "upgrade" bandwagon we are seeing as retailers gear up for the transition between consoles. As seen by Amazon and Gamestop, EA is offering a retail program to upgrade from your Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 version to the next generation console for $10 and are offering gamers the chance to carry over content previously achieved or unlocked.
