Looks like all those rumors of Bryan Cranston potentially portraying Lex Luthor opposite Ben Affleck's Batman in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel may have been way too good to be true. According to Cranston himself in an interview with the Boston Globe, the rumors that he'll be the bald baddie in up to six movies is "news" to him, and it all probably started because he looks good as a bald dude:

None

This was to be expected, but it's still sort of disappointing news anyway. Oh well.

As for what Cranston is doing in his post-Breaking Bad life, the Boston Globe reveals he'll be directing another episode of Modern Family, and starring in an American Repertory Theater production of "All the Way" as President Lyndon B. Johnson in Cambridge, Massachussetts. He also wants to relax, because being the danger must be extremely tiring: "I think I’ll relax the rest of the year. There’s some irons in the fire, things that people are talking about, but nothing is set."
