Nyamyam's iOS Title "Tengami" Won't Be Coming Out This Summer

Will still see a 2013 release.

None

The dreamy and artfully crafted pop-up book-style video game, Tengami, was supposed to hit the virtual shelves this summer for iOS platforms (as well the Wii U, Mac and PC shortly thereafter) but according to the game's development company, Nyamyam, that hope will tragically be left unfulfilled.

Said designer and co-founder of the game, Jennifer Schneidereit, "While Tengami is definitely coming out this year, we still have a fair amount of work to do and therefore we won't be releasing this summer. We are sorry for making you wait so long, but we have spent almost three years onTengami now and want to keep working on it until we feel it is ready."

It's a shame. Gameplay trailers and still shots of the game have had us excited for awhile now. Unfortunately, it looks like we'll have to stay patient for a little longer yet. You know that the Nintendo is bummed about this one too, given that the Wii U could use any titles it can get right now.

However, like all great art, games this intricately designed can sometimes take some time to feel just right for developers. Hopefully, though, the product won't be too overcooked by the time it finally gets released. Don't overthink this one, guys!
