Sex workers in Nevada are understanding. Knowing that some customers' pockets are hurting because of the recession, they're cutting deals. “All the girls are independent contractors, self-employed, and some of them are absolutely reducing prices,” brothel king Dennis Hof told the New York Post. Hof, who you may remember from HBO's Cathouse series, owns seven brothels in the state.
“People are looking for deals," said the Bunny Ranch's Brooke Taylor. “I offer a lot more specials and discounts and incentives for people to come in to see me." This is how you endear yourself to customers, and this is how Hof—and his collection of employees—stay paid.
