Last time we took a look at Day Z, the standalone survival-horror version of the popular mod for Arma II, it didn't look so great. Fortunately the development team at Rocket has been working hard to put some polish on the much-delayed game.
In this developer diary, more of a status update, we get to take a look at the improved landscape, the improved details of buildings and squish-footed charging zombie horrors. Day Z has been delayed many times but - by the look of things - it keeps improving.
The injury system, featured heavily in the beginning of the video, is disturbing to say the least. Hobbling teams running away from other human players trying to take the poor bastards down for a couple cans of beans. The zombie survival future seems promising.
