Here's the funny thing about the Internet: No matter how much time you actually spend online, you will never see and experience everything the Internet has to offer. The sheer magnitude of videos, websites, games, photos, social media sites and zany GIFs is far too much for one person to find on their own. So we decided to compile a handy list. Here are the best things to do on the Internet this weekend, August 10 - 11.

Watch MGMT's Video "Your Life is A Lie"

The psycho-electro indie duo, MGMT, is known best for their debut album, Oracular Spectacular but their subsequent output has seen them take something of a left turn from the easily digestible, synth candy that initially made them so popular. MGMT show no signs of returning to those roots either with their latest track, "Your Life Is A Lie," a pots n' pans-style, existential banger that speaks to the human condition in the same way that great Talkings Heads tracks like "Once in a Lifetime" do. Yeah, this song is basically David Byrne's drugged-out hippie nephew. Check out the video for it above.

Get Inspired by Dean Zimmer

There's nothing more alternately depressing/inspiring than seeing someone like Dean Zimmer succeed in ways that you could never imagine. Your first reaction is always something like, "Wow! This guy is incredible. I'm so happy that he could overcome his personal obstacles to do what he loves." Then after that you're like, "Wait. I'm sitting here on a computer, with four fully functioning limbs, and I can't even play 'Three Blind Mice' on the piano." Maybe consider taking up an instrument this weekend?

Watch the Trailer for Spike Jonze's Upcoming Film "Her"

It's been a minute since Spike Jonze directed any full-length feature films--his last being the terribly beautiful but also terribly boring Where the Wild Things Are--but watch out! Spike is coming back. Starring Joaquin Phoenix as an anti-social loner who falls in love with his Siri-like AI assistant, Jonze's upcoming film Her offers a look at the entrancing capabilities of technology as we move further along in the digital age. Personally, I'm just looking forward to the part at the end where they reveal that this entire story was just a very elaborate ruse designed by the NSA for the sake of acquiring all of Joaquin Phoenix's personal information.
