Little known fact: Long before Aubrey Plaza was April Ludgate or Complex's April/May 2013 cover girl, she was just a teenage hag. No, really, here's proof.

Back in 2008, Plaza starred in a short video called Teen Hag, which was a mock movie trailer aiming to make fun of Teen Wolf. In it, she played a dorky high school-aged version of herself who, instead of going through the physical changes every teen struggles through, finds that she's transformed into an evil hag. Luckily, the Internet is a wonderful place, and the video is still on YouTube for all of us to marvel at.

Really, this clip is actually like an essential piece of pop culture history: It's one of the main reasons Plaza's Twitter handle is @evilhag. The other big reason is her old blog that she ran in college, titled "Salty Sea Hags." She explained that in an interview with Rolling Stone:

None

The blog is thankfully still up even though the last post was in 2006, and can be seen here. Trust us—the entire thing is gold, especially the post about the horse shark.

You can check out Teen Hag, in all its glory, above. Can someone start a campaign to make this a full length movie?
