According to Washington Metropolitan Police, a woman has been arrested for her involvement in green paint being splattered on the National Cathedral in D.C. Per Assistant Police Chief Peter Newsham, a woman was arrested near the cathedral this afternoon and she will most likely be charged with destruction of property.

Last week, the Lincoln Memorial and a statue near the Smithsonian Institute on the National Mall were coated with green paint. Despite the obvious similarities between the two crimes, police are uncertain whether they're related.
