"Breaking Bad's" Saul Goodman Spinoff May Actually Happen

And it has the best name ever.

None

It looks like a Breaking Bad spinoff centered around Saul Goodman may actually be happening.

According to series creator Vince Gilligan in a new interview with The Wrap, the series is "not a done deal yet, but it's definitely something we're full speed ahead on trying to get going." Here's what we do know, however: It would be titled Better Caul Saul, after Saul's infamous catchphrase, and series producer Peter Gould, who created the character of Saul, would likely run the series.

What we do not know, however, is if the series will be a half-hour comedy or hour-long drama, or whether or not it will be a prequel. According to Gilligan: "...you never know, when the dust settles at the end of our final eight episodes, where everybody's gonna be and who's gonna be left standing." AKA, Saul might not even survive the series, in which case the show would have to be a prequel.

One upside to this, though, is that Giancarlo Esposito, who portrayed the badass Gus Fring on Breaking Bad, has already commented that he would love to be involved in a prequel should it end up happening. So make it happen, guys!
