When Chris Barrett picked up his Google Glass explorer edition last week, he thought he'd take it down to a New Jersey boardwalk for some good ol' Fourth of July fun. Then he stumbled across the aftermath of a fight.

“I walked right up, saw a crowd forming, and people were saying a fight was going on,” Barrett said. “With Glass I went closer to the action than I probably should have, and saw a couple fights going on. I think I got the first arrest with Google Glass.” Though we don't see a full-on fight in the video, we get the strange bird's eye view of being in the middle of the situation, with security running by, chants of "USA! USA!" and shirtless guys being arrested. The significant thing here is that filming things like this—or worse—is now easier and more low-key than ever. “Only two people stopped me on the boardwalk, asking about Google Glass," Barrett continued. "I don’t think the general population knows what it is yet.”

This may be the first video of its kind for Google Glass, but it certainly won't be the last.
