Hurricane Sandy ravaged the Northeast last fall, but the lone upside is that the power outages gave couples plenty of time for, um, "intimacy." There was really nothing else to do, so a slew of "Hurricane Sandy Babies" were predicted for the summer months

On Wednesday evening, Brian and Tara Salzman welcomed their son, Brody Dylan Salzman, into the world. When the storm hit, their other three children were forced to stay with their grandparents, and they used the free time to their advantage.“Thank God for Hurricane Sandy . . . I [got] alone time with my husband!” Tara told the New York Post

The Post reports that New York area hospitals experienced a 30 percent jump in deliveries over the same period last year. Somewhere, a mother is probably about to give birth to a Hurricane Sandy baby as you read this.
