Capcom announced they would be bringing five new characters and six new stages to the continually-iterated Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition during an event at EVO 2013.
Of the new characters, Rolento, Poison, Elena, Hugo and one mystery character, the latter has never been seen in a Street Fighter game before. During the announcement Capcom said the new character additions were a result of players wanting the fighters outside of Street Fighter X Tekken. No word on the stages.
The oddly-named Arcade Edition 2012 update will cost id="mce_marker"5 as DLC or can be bought as full game online or in retails for $40. Pre-orders will also net you new costume DLC designed by long-time artistic collaborator Udon Entertainment. Looks like Street Fighter IV, with its sheer iterations, is the new SF II.
