Brooklyn up and moves to D.C.

In September, D.C. will get a little piece of Brooklyn, as the District will welcome its own version of Brooklyn Flea. According to creators Eric Demby and Jonathan Butler, District Flea will be run out of a vacant lot located at 945 Florida Avenue NW, in close proximity to the 9:30 Club. The operation will start on Sep. 14 and last for six Saturdays.

According to an ethusiastic message on its website, the market will feature: "antique and repurposed furniture, vintage clothing, collectibles and antiques, as well as a tightly curated selection of jewelry, art, and crafts by artisans from in and around D.C., New York, Baltimore, and Philly. And of course, delicious fresh food!"

That should hold everyone down for the next month-and-a-half. Head here if you want to be a vendor.
