At the beginning of the week, New York City released several maps showing new evacuation zones that include an additional 600,000 residents. Mayor Bloomberg's office says that the "coastal flood risk" created the need for reorganized zones, but Sebastian Delmont has created another interactive map which shows what the city could look like when and if the new zones go into effect.

As you can see, portions of the city may be submerged, which is never a good thing. Property value for a lot of homes will decrease since they'll be underwater.
